Huge Consumption Potential of Wine
In 2007, China’s wine industry maintained a momentum of rapid growth, posting a total profit of RMB 1.856 billion, a year-on-year growth of 58.68%, and paying a total tax of RMB 2.007 billion, a year-on-year growth of 37.21%. In the first 9 months of 2007, China imported a total of 122,910 kilolitre of wine, exceeding the total of 2006 imports. Of which, 91,890 kilolitre was bulk wine, while 31,020 kilolitre was imported in bottles.

The Committee of National Enologist of China National Food Industry Association, entrusted by China National Food Industry Association, organizes such activities as the quality evaluation for national brand wines and other fruit wines, A-class certification of wines, management and appointment of members of national wine evaluation committee, and inter-industry workshops for purposes of experience exchange and information feedback, work with government departments concerned to supervise the wine quality and boycott fake wines, create favorable conditions for strengthening international technological cooperation and exchanges, and report current situation and information demanded of the wine industry to government departments.    
The Committee of National Enologist of China National Food Industry Association sincerely invites international wine brands to enter China’s vast wine market via such professional platforms as China International Wine & Liquor Expo and China International Wine Industry Forum, to achieve the win-win situation together with Chinese wine industry.
Yunnan Red Wine Group will attend this Expo together with its importers and the marketing teams of its dealers
China Yunnan Red Wine Group will lead its China’s top 10 dealers with annual wine sales of over RMB 1 billion and their elite marketing teams to attend China International Wine & Liquor Expo 2008.
Li Xinxin, General Manager of the Marketing Center of Yunnan Red Wine Group, said that he hopes to find 30-50 foreign wine brands at this professional wine expo, which his group will work as the agent for in China, and he hopes to find 3-5 foreign top wine giants and investors to talk about strategic issues of further cooperation in China’s southwest wine market.

Yunnan Red Wine Group is a foreign enterprise founded by Hong Kong Tongheng International Investment Inc., with its business scope covering grape growing, brewing and sales. Its subsidiary companies include: Yunnan Gaoyuan Wine Co., Ltd., specializing in the R&D and production of Yunnan Red Wines; Yunnan Red Wine Chateau Wine Co., Ltd., which is the new brewery of Tongheng International Investment Inc.; Yunnan Red Wine Development Co., Ltd., responsible for the marketing and sales of Yunnan Red Wines, and having 7 branches and 14 outlets across China. In October 2000, the brand Yunnan Red Wine became the approved wine used for state banquets in Diaoyutai Hotel. In July 2001, it was awarded the honorary title of the Premium Product of the National Food Industry. In Sept. 2003, the Yunnan Red Wines received the Certificate of National Hurtless Beverage. In 2004, the Yunnan Red Wine Group won the honorary titles of Top 100 in China’s Wine Industry and National Model Agricultural and Sightseeing Park, and become the advanced enterprise of agricultural industrialization accredited by 8 ministries and commissions of China. In Sept. 2005, the brand Yunnan Red Wine won the title of China’s Famous Brand……

Beijing Zijin Red Wine Chain Co., Ltd. Owns 10 chain wine bars selling 90PLUS products in Beijing and Harbin, and operates over 500 premium wines and drinks coming from various parts of the world, ranging from RMB100 to around RMB 10000.
2) Shanghai Nanpu Food Co., Ltd.
Established in 1992, this company has worked as the agent for new product series of Nestle, product series of the Wyeth, and dozens of foreign liquor brands such as Remy Martin, Hennessy and Martell, totally over 2000 varieties. In addition, it develops Tianwo foods independently. The annual sales totaled RMB 1.5 billion.
3) Shenzhen Dashui Wine Co., Ltd.
Shenzhen Dashui Wine Co., Ltd. is a Guangdong-based enterprises specifically representing Chinese and foreign wine and liquors in China. Currently the company has a total of 150 dealers, with outlets across the south China. In 2007, the sales of Great Wall dry red wine alone hit 1.8 million cases.
4) Yunnan Hengsheng Wine Co., Ltd.
This company was registered on June 6, 1997, having a registered capital of RMB 8 million and a staff of 300 employees.
5) Zhejiang Xinyou Wine Co., Ltd.
6) Sichuan Wuhou Wine Co., Ltd.
7) Guizhou Huixin Wine Co.,
