    AITA is enlarging the educational network between China and Australia

    Meeting with The Department of Education of Chengdu city

    29th of October, 2014, Chengdu. The Department of Education of Chengdu city expressed further cooperation interests with AITA & Associatesin the meeting held on 29th of October. Hai XU, the Head of International Cooperation Section of Department of Education of Chengdu City, Michael GUO, CEO of AITA & Associates, the delegation invited by AITA & Associates Clr Jess Jennings from Bathurst Regional Council, NSW andHeather Cavanagh from Charles Sturt University attended the meeting.

    In the meeting, XU indicated that there are increasing numbers of organizations and schools in Chengdu who are interested in bringing delegations to Australia for conducting student exchanging/visiting/training programmes, which is a good opportunity for promoting schools and establishing partnership between schools both in Australia and China. XU believed that as a well recognized organization both in China and Australia, AITA & Associates have the ability to bring more opportunities to Chinese education industry and also create more chance for Chinese education delegation going to Australia for international cooperation.

    With the opportunity provided by AITA & Associates, Dr. Heather Cavanagh,the Vice-chancellor of Charles Sturt University got a chance to promote the university for further educational cooperation, as well as a chance for Clr Jess Jennings to promote Bathurst Regional Council. This Chinese trip provided them a great opportunity to meet different important government officers in China, which is important for them to conduct further cooperation. 

    The Department of Education of Chengdu city is an important government department that in charge of the whole education industry in Chengdu city. Specifically, International Cooperation Section of Department of Education is responsible for international cooperating programmes. Open the following link for more information
