AITA's strong economic experience, organisational abilities, and international network give us the edge in the establishment of City-to-City cooperative agreements. Our management has already helped establish cooperative arrangements with many cities, local councils, provinces, educational institutions and business organisations in a range of areas throughout Australia and China.
AITA can facilitate meetings foreign business people, community leaders and dignitaries such as Government Ministers and Mayors in order to discuss areas of common interest. In addition, AITA council offers numerous other benefits, including:

AITA's achievements in this field include the Sister City relationship between Dachang City, Hebie Province, and Mudgee, NSW as well as Cooperation and Sister City Agreements for Gatton, Ipswich, MacLean, Sarina, Campbelltown, Blacktown and Casey in Victoria.
AITA has also established Cooperation Agreements throughout Australia. A different style of City-to-City relationships, Cooperation Agreements enjoy the less restriction than it more formal counterpart, and can be signed with a number of different Cities, allowing more flexibility and freedom for trade, investment, and cultural exchange. AITA currently has more than 100 such agreements in Australia, New Zealand, and abroad.
AITA welcomes membership from City and Shire Councils who are interested in tapping into the vast foreign market place. AITA regularly organizes seminars and conferences for delegations traveling to Australia who wish to meet with Australian business people, local government officials and education officials.
