AITA is committed to developing the links between Australian Education and the World.
AITA's Education department has been operating for seven years, and has a large network of associations with education providers and government agencies in place. We have co-operative agreements with numerous educational organisations and departments, and are always seeking to expand cooperation and exchange in new and better ways.
AITA head office is in Sydney, and has a large office in Beijing. AITA has a number of sub-agents in China, and many associates worldwide looking after the their interests. We also have the support of numerous Federal and State MPs, from varied political backgrounds, City and Shire Councils, as well as from our own Members all over Australia and New Zealand.
AITA's Education and Training Department
We believe that Education is important. So important that we have an entire department devoted to Educational and Training Projects, and have co-founded the Sino-Australian International College of Technology in Kaifeng, Henan Province, China.
Our Education and Training is able to Act as Agents, Recruitment International Students, Organise Short Courses overseas, Organise Study Tours for Students or Teachers, Exchange Students and much more. Click on the links at the top of the page for more information on our programs.
AITA is able to assist Insitiutions from Primary to Tertiary level education, and on to Adult education. We are committed to exploration of all forms of exchange, and in the rare incident we do not already have the program you want, we will design it for you, with our existing experience in Education and our network of Members and supports.
Existing relationships
AITA has a solid reputation and well-established relationships with education and government officials in numerous cities and provinces throughout China.
AITA has extensive support in Australia from elected representatives of Federal, State and Local government. Our regular Education and Trade delegations ensure that Educational Institutions linked to us are brought to the attention of those delegates. The delegation from Heilongjiang Province included high-level officials, such as the Vice-Minister for Education, who visited Universities, TAFEs and Secondary Schools in December 2002. The delegation from Dachang Province included the Deputy Mayor and six other Officials and Principals, who visited NSW and Queensland in February 2003.

Expert Educational Team
AITA employs qualified experts in the Education Industry from Australia and Internationally. Many of these experts are bilingual and have had long experience in Education. Our Beijing Office has several Australian staff, a presence that enables agreements such as that with the Hunter Institute of TAFE to be delivered as contracted.
Continued Training
AITA ensures that their education team is regularly kept up to date by:
Providing internal workshops giving latest information on education policy and trends in China and Australia.
Organising external workshops and forums on education.
Sending staff to Australian and New Zealand embassies in Beijing to attend workshops organised by the embassies. These workshops provide the latest information on immigration and education policies.
Organising large seminars and conventions on education in China. These conventions are attended by Chinese and overseas experts in education.
Organising education exchange delegations between China and Australia. Eg. A delegation of Senior Education Department Officials and Principals from DaChang visited various education facilities in NSW in February 2003. A delegation from Heilongjiang Province, including the Vice Minister of Education visited Australia in December 2002.
